Never erase yesterday’s number

Never erase yesterday’s number

If they owed 200 and you sold 50 more, add 50. Don’t replace 200 with 250. A payment is a new line so the total comes down.

The fastest way to start a fight is to erase yesterday and write a new total. If they owed 200 and you sold 50 more, add 50. The book should still show the 200. When they pay, add a payment so the total comes down. If the number goes up after a payment, you marked it the wrong way.

Two buttons, one meaning

In Kaymn, Receivable means they owe you more. Payable means the balance moves the other way — you owe them, or they are paying down what they owed. The customer still reads their own statement, in their currency. Your dollar total is for you.

FAQ

Is this full accounting software?

No. It is a customer book: names, credit sales, payments, and a statement for one person. Not stock, tax, or a till.

Does Kaymn send WhatsApp reminders?

No. You can share a statement link. The reminder is still yours to send.
